It was a rather beautiful piece (in my opinion) from the line abstracts series, painted in 1994 or 95. Here we have the singular blue figure seemingly deciding between portals to pass through… I loved the world the blue pilgrim is passing through – created by scrumbling layers of paint until it had a lustrous quality.
