I built this website to answer the question I hear so often –
“what do you do?”
It’s a question that’s always been a problem for me… do you mean, what do I do for a living or what am I really doing?
And for me, that changes depending on the day, week, month we’re experiencing. I’m a cyclical person and my creativity and focus shifts depending.
I recently met someone named Brian who inspired me to build this website because I couldn’t answer that question.
Can you put in a few words what you do?
I went with Artist while having my brief but interesting conversation with Brian.
But that barely scratches the surface, as you find out while exploring this website.
Here’s the basics about myself – I was born in June of 1964, and now, surprisingly find myself in my sixties.
I live with the love of my life, Tania, and we’ve been together since October 12, 1986.
Here’s a photo from our wedding in Big Sur.
We have a great time together, both being artists and creative individuals.
Tania is the Yin to my Yang, as they say.
We live in the hi-desert of Southern California, in Joshua Tree to be exact, since 2013.
In the photos below you’ll see we have a dog – his name is Benny and is the cutest, most loveable dog, just saying.
We adopted him from the Joshua Tree No-Kill Shelter…

You’ll find six major sections on this website that will help answer the question, “what do I do?”
Art is such a big subject in my life that I’ll be building on that section for a long time… what you see today is not the completed idea.
For now you can see some of my latest work, along with a retrospective of the first ten years of my painting life.
This is a show of 26 different pieces from the 1990s culled from the hundreds of different painting I’ve created during that period.
Each piece has a writeup to go with it, It’s quite a creative journey!
I am the author of four novels and a few other assorted books.
This section takes you through the bookshelf, with links to buy the books if you’re interested.
I make sound collages, soundscapes and other music.
